I am planning to propose to my girlfriend when she visits me in Bogotá this fall. In the short time that I have been living here, I have seen some neat/romantic places but I have a limited knowledge of all this city has to offer. I am looking for some extravagant ideas for a proposal. What do you think?
Some criteria:
I don't want to travel far out of Bogotá.
I am all for lavish yet it needs to be economical.
We are not clubbers.
Thanks!

I was originally thinking of having a banner with a message hung on one of the big buildings and then having her see it with the big eyes up there. I don't know how I could pull it off though. Plus, all it would take is one fat cloud to ruin it.

Actually, there are a lot of places over there, that are pretty good. But, you indicated you are not clubbers.
