Get certified to teach in the US will actually bring you the most income. Otherwise, I don´t think it really matters. Any of them will get you work.

CETLA at the British Council is the best certification...accepted and respected all over the world, a little more expensive but worth it.

im just curious to as if the celta really makes a difference in colombia. i mean i could see it having an impact if you are teaching english in western europe, usa, uk...but in colombia wow i dunno. maybe people have experience with this. couple of my buddies down there got online certify which is pretty much a joke if you ask me, and they are all working. they dont make much..but what is making a lot?? if you make 18.000/hrcop online tefl and 23.000/hr celta and you dropped 2grand on the celta, is it really worth it?? anbody with experiences??

I would suggest a CELTA. It will open you doors not only in Colombia, but also arround the world. It's really good investment. We only hire teachers with a CELTA or equivalent certifications.
