In August, I'm moving out to Medellin to teach English. I've been told that I have to get an compulsory ID card from the DAS and that will involve having to give them a blood sample so they know my blood group.
Does anyone know if they will accept a doctors certificate from the UK with the same information?

You will get a Contrasena (temporary ID card) and about 4 months later get your permanent Cedula. www.medellintravelguide.com www.medellinofficerentalswww.medellinlanguageinstitute.com 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

glassoman says on Jun 12, 2008, 14:49: Jonas, so DAS accepted your non-Colombian-issued blood type card? I appreciate that I can get the blood test done cheaply whilst I'm over there, I'm just not a massive fan of blood tests and I'd prefer not to have another one if I can avoid it!
