Getting a little bored in Bucaramanga, any advice?

Hi everyone,
I am a young student currently in Bucaramanga learning Spanish and paragliding with private tutors. It has been fantastic so far but I still have two more weeks here and am getting a little bored being all alone. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to do or wanted to meet up and talk and just make friends. It has been pretty difficult to make many friends here because of the language barrier. Anyone marginally bilingual would be great to hang around with and kill time with.

Stick around couple more years because Bucaramanga is building the largest tourist park in South America and most expensive construction project, "El Cañón del Chicamocha". Or hook up with that dude from Bucaramanga, he used to shows us pictures of chicas aguilas or models from Bucaramanga here at pbh. The same guy who knows about the hormigas culonas.
He knows good places or restaurants where you can enjoy your short visit.
