getting a chinstrap

Hi everyone! I'll be in Colombia for a few weeks, and really apprecaite the wonderful information here. My question is this: How to I ask a barber/stylist for a "chinstrap?" A chinstrap is a beard style where a thin line of facial hair is left on the jawline, as well as on the lip (like a goatee). Not sure if this is even a popular style in Colombia right now, but a lot of us ear it in the NY/NJ area. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

"A chinstrap beard grows along the jaw / chin in a narrow line, and was fashionable from the late-18th century through the mid-19th century in Europe, and later Russia and Japan."

Colombian women hate facial hair. Clean shaven is the only style they like. (Like Mario said already)

Truer words were never spoken. They'll put up with (and notice that I said "put up with") a mustache but that's about it.

Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult.

Get a chinstrap in NY/NJ, take a picture, tell the barber to cut it like the picture. I really think you should try the French Fork, though. Colombian women are very fond of "Batman".
