Unit only has original basemap. Until recently there was no legitimate Garmin approved map of Colombia.

Garmin still doesn't offer road/driving maps of Colombia. I did find some maps from a guy in Bogota a couple of months ago but ended up going with www.findercolombia.com and getting their GPS which has pretty good maps and a great database of restaurants in the larger cities (I have used the GPS to take me to various restaurants and hotels in the larger cities). Since finder came out with their own GPS I do believe they offer maps for some of the Garmin units.
