"Gabo de mi alma"

Question:

Has any one been to Aracataca? or has been to a museum dedicated to Gabriel Garcia Marquez in Colombia?

Thnx

Nope. Don't feel the need to go there and even that old train they used to celebrate Gabo's 80th birthday is not working anymore. It's weird since they made such a big deal about it.

People forget sometimes that Gabo's most revered books are FICTION. Trying to find the real-world places of his wonderful books is sort of like travelling around Kansas looking for Oz.

¡Vaya!

Mr Hollywood it is not that I am looking for Gabo's settings in real world places (since in my own country I can see latinamerican settings), but I wanted to know if there are any places where Gabo's personal history is showed (I did not like "Vivir para contarla" it seems that you are reading "El Amor en los tiempos del cólera")
