FYI - Thread Moved

I moved the thread "For those who are Tired of Vallenato" to the Off topic: do your thing" section.

Plato brought up a good point. The rock thread was moved, why should that thread not be moved as well. I suppose we hadn't moved it because most of the music posted was in spanish and was listened to by anybody growing up in a latin american country.

But I thought it was only fair.

It's no fun complaining in a thread started by a mod....

I didn't say she was being unfair. Lots of songs in there have nothing to do with Colombia. Some of them did, more were in Spanish. These threads where some complains about a thread being deleted or demoted are very tiresome, none of us is Shakespeare. The libraries in Alexandria are long gone. Centuries from now scholars will not mourn for Pow Wow or care which freakin' forum something ended up in. But Solomonic? Hardly. MT,

Sounds like you're complaining.

"Colombiche,
Thank you very much. Ultimately, mods can do whatever they want - that's number 1.
Number 2: This is a privately owned site.
Number 3 -My point is about consistency and you understood that. I was asking a question, that's all. And yes, you were Salomonic about it. Thanks again.
Regards,
Plato"

Thanks for what Plato?
What did you obtain from that?

Wait a minute, Robi666, I realized you copied and posted my response to Colombiche from the other thread: "For who's Tired of Vallenato". I believe the thread is yours. Is there an issue you want to discuss here?

I already said this is a private site where the owner and mods can do anything they want. I was just asking a question - that's all. Actually, I didn't expect this outcome, but it happened. Now, what's the issue?

I enjoyed both threads very much. You can see I have been an eager contributor myself.

I thought Plato had a good question about what constitutes a thread that must be moved and what that must not. Both threads are a collection of videos that may or may not be colombian or even latin in origin. The only difference is that the Rock thread zoomed in solely on one genre.

I am trying to be consistent. I am communicating my decision to move it because I don't want to go around moving perfectly good active threads without letting people know where they can be found. :)

- It's a pointer thread, showing you where to go to find the moved thread. No use placing the pointer thread where the moved thread lies.

- You guys just made it about colombia with all the cumbias you posted ;)
