There are Fullbright opportunities in Colombia....don't remember the website....google it and you will find it.....I mention this since so many in this forum are seeking some sort of employment/support in Colombia...I never seem to qualify for this US government $# at ! at #$ or at least there is always some 4%$# at reason that I figure why bother....I don't like the USAID or the State Department!

They said I couldn't play football I was too small / They say I couldn't play basketball I wasn't tall / They say I couldn't play baseball at all / And now everyday of my life I ball.

My wife's Colombian sister in law is on a Fulbright. She is working on her doctorate at a university in Arizona.

That website is for Colombians wanting to do fulbrights out of the country... If you are an American and want to do a Fulbright in the country, you have to propose a research project and get chosen by the Fulbright committe - very involved and difficult application process I believe. My impression is that it is also highly selective especially as there are more and more students considering Colombia as an option.

I dont think there are any teaching English assistantships available through Fulbright Colombia as there are in lots of European countries.
