Anyone, looking for a full time teaching position in Bucaramanga? I currently work at a private school and they are looking for a new teacher to replace a European that walked out on the job. Send me an email if you might be interested and I can give you more details. The salary is confortable but nothing fantastic. I work there because the people are nice to work with and I love teaching. They also helped me change "hogar" on my visa to "docente" which I understand many places don't like to bother with. The hours are 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Albatross says on Feb 22, 2008, 05:59: Hmm... less than a grand a month, I'm guessing rent would run $300-$400/month for a decent (livable) place, and after all the other necessities, you might be left over with a $50-$100/week for non-essentials and savings... adrienne79 says on Feb 22, 2008, 10:11: I don´t know of any elementary or secondary schools in Bucaramanga that pay as much as Vic mentioned....well maybe Pan Amercian. In otherwords, the salary is less than he stated, as far as I know. I live with my husband so we have two incomes but I still save plenty every month living in our own apartment in Strato 4.
