Full container, how much tax?

Taxes That depends, if you´re a colombian citizen (which probably you´re not) you have to pay 0% import duty if you prove that you lived outside the country for more than 1 year. This is called "menaje".
Otherwise it depends, I think the rate would be around 15% but the problem is, most of your stuff is used so it shouldn´t be taxed, ask at the forwarding company about that.

do a search on this (above on right) i have written at length on the subject. what you have just been told above (C.B.) is so wide of the actual facts that the above poster should educate themself before telling others what's what and what's not.

we had lived out of colombia for a number of years and when we returned, we took the info at the colombian consul in both miami and los angeles as our guide lines....just about to the word, false, inaccurate and just plain bull shit.

if you want the bottom line facts on this issue--in short the law--contact D.I.A.N. in bogota and be absolutely specific as to what will accompany you into the country and get it from them in writing on their statiionary because when your container enters port, you are first at the mercy of the thieves and secondly at the mercy of the director of the aduanal. BUT!! the aduana is under d.i.a.n (i forgot, thats dept. of taxes and customs national)
