Frustrated looking for place to stay in Barranquilla.......

My minor son and I will be traveling to Barranquilla next month and i'm looking for places to stay around la 72, not the Dann, not El Prado, nor Golf, etc. These hotels are way to expensive, does anyone know of any other ones that are cheaper??
