utopiacowboy says on Sep 15, 2008, 19:39: Strangely enough (or not so strangely) the Mexicans do not make it very easy for their southern Latino brethren to visit. Unless he/she has residency in the US, Canada, Australia, Europe etc. a visa will be difficult to obtain. Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

guacharaca says on Sep 16, 2008, 08:31: PR card in Canada or USA gets a Colombian into Mexico visa free. If your PR card is from Canada, they can stamp you for up to a six month stay at the airport in Mexico. A PR card still does not let a Colombian into Venezuela traveling by bus without a visa. Mononoke28 says on Sep 16, 2008, 09:31: Yes, they need a visa to go to Mexico and it's not easy to get, mainly because it's used as a trampoline to get into the US. Diana 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

sanandressi says on Sep 16, 2008, 09:52: I have heard from a pretty good source that for $5,000 or $10,000 they can get you into Mexico and to the border and across where you be a OTM if the Border Patrol nabs you. Other Than Mexican. OTM Of course, you could be robbed or raped or left to die by your coyotes.

Robert Jorge says on Sep 16, 2008, 22:04: I don't know details, but I know for a fact that a Colombian friend who has a US tourist visa traveled to the US last spring. She went with another friend on a cruise out of Miami, with one port of call being Cancun. She absolutely had no visa for entry into Mexico.
