Frequent Travel BOG-MDE

Need help figuring out how to fly frequently and inexpensively to/from Bogota and Medellin. I can do it with Avainca but that will run me $300 roundtriip. My gf now lives there and I want to see how frequently I can fly there on a budget. I planning on going there at least every other weekend.

So anyone know of any other competitive airline or a way to buy tickets in advance to save?

Thanks.

I think I heard the other day about "you moved, so you fly as often as I do, honey" Airline.

Before you throw me out, make sure I pay my bar tab

Their website offers BOG-MDE via Manizales for 120K one-way.

I have flown with them MDE-BOG via Ibague, and I have flown with them often MDE-CTG with a 10-minute stop in MonterĂa.

A friend of mine was living in cali and he had a girlfriend in medellin. He took the overnight bus once a month to medellin. If you're worried about cost the bus is another option. You can sleep on it overnight and it should only cost about 45k pesos each way.

So what is the catch? Why can Avianca charge so much more on that route?
