Free help translating Spanish to English

If anybody needs help translating Spanish to English, up to a page or 2, feel free to ask me. I love translating and have some free time. It could be something important, or just an article you're curious about. Or a text message/love letter you received.

I'm pretty good with languages (e.g, translated Japanese to English for 5 years for securities companies in Tokyo). Why am I offering? I'll probably learn something and feel good about myself to boot. Who knows, if I get a good rep with you guys, then maybe I'll start doing some translation agency work down the line. I can do a literal, word-for-word translation, or a translation to how it would be written/said in native-speaker level English.

I would indicate any parts of the translation that I wasn't sure about (probably certain idiomatic expressions, colloquialisms, and Colombian/latin cultural connotations that I am not familiar with yet since I have spent a total of about 6 months living in Medellin).

PS If it's something official and important I could do a rough translation for you to save some you some $ and then you could have it checked by someone on the certified translators list.

You can post what you want translated here, PM me, or scan it and email it to me at joel.goleburn at gmail.com

or probably the best option, contact me for my fax number in medellin

I doubt it, translated from 1987-1994, so it's been a while. But I'm willing to brainstorm on solving your problem if you want.

I'm a native speaker of English and only translate into my native tongue. You should find a native Spanish speaker to do your resume. But I can help. I have a Colombian friend, a professor at EAFIT, that could help me. Send it over and I'll let you know by when I can get it back to you.
