Freaky new look!

Hey all,
yea, I changed the look. I know it will take some time to get used to... at least it takes up less space at the top.

I also changed it so that, if you PM someone, it'll now add the username in the pm email. And some other changes.

I know a lot of you are gonna be freaked out by this new look - give it some time, and let me know what works/doesn't...

Yeah, I was freaked out. I thought my computer was acting up again. Glad that you explained.

If I go into a post then I don't have any links "active, all forums" etc to get back out of it

Firefox in case that makes a difference

Peter like Johnny says. We should have links to active posts etc. inside a post. Saves time having to back and of thread and find the active link.

I thought my browser was having CSS seizures. When I refreshed the dropdown rendered correctly.

My only suggestion is to not deactivate the link the view that you're on. For example, If I am on the active page, I normally just hit the active link to reload the page. Also, if I am on page 2 the active list, I would click on the active link to reload to the first page. Now I have to scroll down to the bottom to hit the page number. I just noticed that the active, etc. links aren't on the thread pages at all. This is problematic in that if you edited a comment, you'd have to hit the back button several times or click back through the main nav to get back to the active page or whatever forum page you were on.

BTW, Thanks for adding the username to the private messages.

I like the cleaner appearance on the top. Nice changes Peter.

I echo CG's comment - Once you're in the "Active" list, there's no way to refresh other than F5 or using your browser's refresh button. I too prefer clicking on Active to refresh.

I completely agree with CG's other comment about having to use your Back button when you're inside a post to get back. If you've edited your comment, it's a lot of hitting the Back button. It's much easier to be able to just click Active (or latest, etc.) on the top of the page.
