But Perez says the official silence shows confusion about what the Americans were really doing in Colombia and has left the three U.S. hostages deeply depressed. They could probably get more than 1 million if done right. I would've smacked the crap out of Perez, it could have been three people free, not just one. The guy didn't take off because he was the only one who could, he did it because of a fight - that's dicky.
