I was reading the online Colombia Reports news this morning and saw the following article regarding a trip that was organized to Colombia for 10 foreigners from five countries. It’s not as in depth as you might want but it does confirm the perspective that is growing in Colombia about the quality and safety of visiting.

I believe in large part due to the stereotyping in films and news stories from the '80s and '90s. I then have to spend several minutes trying to undo those stereotypes... it's working. Every time I return back to the US (alive) with wonderful stories and pictures their interest is peaked and some are now thinking of visiting Colombia in the future. I miss the wonderful sound of silver coins in my pocket, abolish the Federal Reserve and bring back real money. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
