For wine snobs only!

Anyone know where, if available, I can find Riedel wine glasses in Medellin?

And a follow up question... Are there any wine clubs in Medellin that you know of?

There is a Falabella in san diego.. but if that doesnt work out there is a nice Pilsen Bar in Parque Lleras.

Mil gracias! I knew you guys would come through. As far as the Pilsen Bar is concerned, for me the only real (drinkable) beer in Medellin is Tres Cordilleras.

They are definitely not what i was searching for but it's a start. It looks like I will try to order the style I want since I at least know they are available here in Colombia.

There is a wine club, it is from Medellin so they have local events, when I was in Bogota, I would get very nice wine in the mail from nice wineries in Chile and Argentina. They also send a magazine telling the story of the winery that creates the wine of the month that you get in the mail.

Hope you like it.

That's ultra modern Finnish design crystal from 1970:)
Ultima Thule wineglasses come in three different size and shape.

Very popular and a best seller world over. They're still making them.

Man that would put my Pier One wine glasses to shame. One of those cost more than all my glassware. I guess you don't have to be in Colombia to be, "Poor But Happy"!

any of you guys like, "T.J. SWANN" mmmmmmmm, my favorite brown bag wine. better than T BIRD and RIPPLE.

don't understand all this skyhawking about rothschilds. craziness. my ex business partner of 28 years, spent $4,500.00 for a '47 lafite. and with a 500gm tin of iranian caviar and a baguette (and probably a number of lines) did it in a couple of hours. ain't that a shame.

My wife goes mad but rather than use one of the lead crystal glasses, I generally pour the red wine into a large glass tumbler more suitable for Scotch. That is because I have a horrible habit of misjudging the length of the stem and cracking the base! The trouble with wearing bifocals.
The tumblers are just about unbreakable. With guests present, a different story but although I am sure that the wine tastes better in the proper wine glasses, I fear breaking the things so I drink less-which is not the objective!

My former wife would get furious when I would just pour the whole damn bottle into a 32 ounce big gulp plastic cup. (Buy honey...I only had two glasses of wine...hic)
