Can anybody here, those who reside in Medellin and surrounding areas, give me some feedback and information on parcelación El Rodeo, called the Occidente cercano which is conformed by San jerónimo, Sopetrán y Santa Fé de Antioquia.
1. How far a drive from Rionegro Airport, and Medellin ( El poblado).
2. Is it a safe and well inhabited area. (slums, ect)
3. Good and paved roads and streets
4. Crowded, Quiet
5. Good highway access to MDE
6. Supermarkets
7. Public Services, ie, Electricity, Water, Garbage collection, Cable/Internet/Phone, banks, etc.
Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Specially interested in Sopetran.
Thanks
Cheers

larryrn says on Jun 12, 2008, 08:29: These towns you mention are around 90 minutes from Medellin and for the most part, the roads are paved. There has been a detour on the tunnel route from Medellin to Santa Fe requiring you to drive through San Jeronimo for the last 8 months or so which increases the drive time by maybe 15 minutes..
