The first leg of the Australia - Uruguay match will be played on Saturday night.
There has been discussion over the past few months in regards to this game had Colombia made it and how competitive Australia would be. Therefore I thought it might be relevent as Ive talked Australias hopes up a bit and so this could be a chance for people to make me eat my words.
The 2nd leg is on Wednesday in Melbourne
update for those interested Uruguay will be without Forlan while Australia will be missing captain and central defender Moore(NEWCASTLE) as well as Parma midfielder Bresciano.
Harry Kewell looks like he will be fit to play.

kernow62 says on Nov 12, 2005, 06:23: I am sure some of the folks familiar with Bogotá will be able to hook you up for the match. Hopefully before it is not too late. Perhaps Bogotá Beer Company (just a guess). There are a few pubs in Bogotá.

carter says on Nov 12, 2005, 19:37: Australia 0 - Uruguay 1 for those that are interested. Australia looked alright early on and had more of the ball but one lapse in concentration means we have to score a goal on Wednesday if not 2.
