My luck! I have been waiting for YEARS to make the move to Colombia and now the #+ at *%* peso is getting strong. When we were in August last year, it was $2,500 now it is like a 1,000 less!. But when I bought my apt I paid like $2,800 or more.
We are going to look to buy some land or a finca. He has no clue how bad the dollar is. He will have a big surprise!.

my point, exactly, ipdiver. I really doubt the col peso can go much lower than 1700 to 1800 (to one usa dollar) anytime in the near future, and a few years out. Economic change jus can't happen that fast. So, why are all the gringos freakin out over a few lost dollars?
