For the newbies only. How to land trophy Colombian women?

First of all, colombianas have to know you’re American.
How do you do this with out having to shout it out like some lunatic? Simple!
You gotto a nice club and get yourself smack in the middle of the dance floor.
Afraid to be turned down or intimidated by beautiful girls? then ask the most un-attractive girl to dance; she will NOT turn you down.
Politely escort “la gordita” to the middle of the dance floor, always with a smile, make sure they are all watching.
Now, we are reaching the most important stage
No matter what they play (salsa, cumbia, reagaton, bolero, latin rock, vallenato) always dance the “funky chicken” followed by those dance steps Americans are famous for, the one that looks like you’re having an epileptic attack.
Once you get the attention of all in the club they will surely know you’re 100% prime cut American male, and they love that, especially all the super hot girls in the club.
They will point toward you and giggle but inside they will be dying with desire.
Colombian women in Colombia LOVE American men, and they find the way you dance funny but cute because that funny guy can give them a life far better than some hot John Travolta dancing Colombian dude.

Forgot one thing. If you're in Bogotá, make sure you wear shorts, sandals and t-shirt with picture of “Scooby-Doo” to their upscale clubs and get ready for the herd of women coming your way.

I'll get there, when I get there!

Web, I wish I could tape myself and then show you guys my version of the “funky chicken” cause I’m quite good at it. I’ve danced the “funky chicken” many times specially at our annual Christmas parties at work. My favorite song to this dance is “Play that funky music white boy”.
The “funky chicken” is very simple. Just act like a chicken, flapping your wings (arms) and flailing your legs around all while jerking your head to the beat. Anyone could do it and is very sexy dance.

I'll get there, when I get there!

hey peter, if have enough of those cheap colorfull drinks at "wet willies" i'll be doing the funky chicken smack in the middle of ocean drive.

I better not do that cause if that place happens to be filled with rich, tough, young Rican and black gangsters from NYC, they'll put a cap on my ass for embarrassing the big apple.

I'll get there, when I get there!

Reminds me of one of my favorite shows on tv: the Pants Off Dance Off on FUSE. Plenty of funky chicken dancing.

Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult.

Elmo Your wit never ceases to amaze , I was cracking up in laughter.

Actually its not too far off the mark with the Semi Rich or Rich American on the look for Colombian Chicks.

Although I am not quiete sure if the Colombian chicks really do like the American men or just see it as a passport to a better life.

I remember way back in must have been 97,98 in an empty VIP bar in Bogota , two chicks turned up and called me over to dance with them , One of them was convinced that I was American and did not want anything to do with me , She also tried to divert her friend , however once they understood that I was British they actually did a 180 degree turn and were more then welcoming.

Elmo as for your funky chicken Dance , any chance on setting up a school in Cali , "Elmo's Advanced school of Funky Chicken".

Saludos.

For the "Funky Chicken Challenged" PBHers out there! here is the link for step by step instructions!...i tried to imbed all of them but had little luck, so i posted what i was able to!

You may have heard of THE FUNKY CHICKEN - the craziest dance ever. Now it is possible for you to learn this dance in the privacy of your own home. With these careful instructions, you should be able to master this fine art within days.

http://www.zuidwijk.nl/fun/funky/

Look cool and relax, concentrating on the thumping beat of the bass drum. Tapping toes or nodding the head helps. Beginners are advised to count from 1 to 4. Do not move lips.

Chicken Wings: Stand with feet slightly apart. Both hands are tucked under the armpits to make wings. Flap down on every beat, and back up in time for the next. Practice for ten minutes.
Chicken legs: Kick one foot out and back a little on 1, placing it back on 2. The other foor is kicked out on 3, to be back on 4.

Yellow Chicke: Both arms are held up across the face. Wiggle knees as if they are made of rubber.
Crazy Chicken: Imagine you are a crazy chicken. Scratch the floor while making clucking sounds.

Just my opinion...
