One of the Least Expensive times to fly to Colombia from the USA is during the week of Thanksgiving... .(if you can stand missing the family turkies ;-))....
An interesting side note... THINGS DON'T ALWAYS MAKE SENSE....
I can fly from New Orleans (via Houston) to Bogota during that week, for $486.00....but, If I go to Houston to catch that same plane, the fair is $797.00!
Either way, 8-10 hours in the air, coming and going, but... only a 2- rather than a 3-hour drive for me to New Orleans, rather than Houston.
