For Sale: Business Opportunities

Like every Country in the world there is a boom stage of development that occurs in it's history, this brings fantastic business opportunities to savvy investors and entrepeanures
Currently there is a real estate explosion that is occurring in Colombia ! All the major cities are experiencing a construction explosion and North American urbanization has come to Colombia. In every city throughout Colombia, luxury apartment complexes, gorgeous planned communities are sprouting up everywhere and they all have one thing in common, expensive ! Prices have sky-rocketed and more than doubled in the last two years ! This has made many Colombians and foreign investors huge profits in the various sectors of real estate investment and construction.

The sale of stratus 5 and 6 apartments and homes in these planned communities start around $75,000 U.S.D. and can easily go over the $500,000 U.S.D. mark. In some cities like Cartagena , new ocean front apartments can be bought for about $60,000 U.S.D. the average square meter price for new construction in 2005 was about $1,500 U.S.D.

Middle class Yuppies are here and they are buying up everything built and imported, cars, electronics and real estate ! As the middle class expansion occurs all major cities, Bogota, Medellin, Cali and Cartagena, are experiencing a financial boom in all retail sectors. Although there is still a far separation from middle to poor class, the middle class expansion in cities like Medellin, a major Manufacturing city in Colombia has provided many savvy investors with huge profit margins dealing in this real estate market boom.

Mike, you really crack me up with your spam. I see it every time you post.

So prices are going up in real estate in Cartagena? WOW! Who does not know that? You are such a business professional to see that!

I have been to the Internet Cafe you are trying to sell in Cartagena. Is that your idea of a successful business? Something that makes $700 a month? You really think you are a business person when you are trying to sell a business model that makes about $8000 a year? Are you insane? If I remember correctly you were trying to sell that "business" for $23,000? So it would take three long years of running it just to recover the investment. WOW! That is a winner. Lets not forget that all the computers would be obsolete in 3 years so really it might take forever to recover the investment with a tiny revenue of $700 a month.

Also, all of your webpages are hosted on 8K.com which is a shitty free Internet hosting company. If you are just a player why can you not afford a domain for your websites? Come on, a business man like yourself can surely afford $7.95 a year! After all, you are a big consultant who advises other people how to do business in Colombia. Reach into your pocket and get that eight bucks out! Invest!

I looked at the apartments you are selling on your site and they are way overpriced. I know exactly what is for sale in Cartagena, I know all the prices and best deals, and you are way off the ball.

Your other site http://www.abma.8k.com/ makes a reference to getting rich from your site? How can others get rich when you are so poor? If you cannot even afford a web designer and $8 a year for hosting (even though you say you own an Internet company!) then how will others get rich?

I am tired of reading your spam. I also do not like the idea of a hack like yourself scamming newbie tourists with misleading information. I see people like you all the time in Cartagena. People with no money who are desperate to figure out a way to stay there since they do not want to go home. They will do anything to scam and freeload off the other tourists, anything to get by.

Stop the spam on PoorbutHappy and get a real job!!!

North American Urbanization???? jajajajajajaja. You can't compare the real materials that we Colombianos use for the houses. Not paper. Jajajajajaja. Do not make me laugh!!!!!!!!!!!!! please.
And I'm feeling very upset to know that all the looser from USA are buying land in places so beautiful like Cartagena, the only place they can make the show-of-money.

Apartment He has that apartment posted on other sites for a lower price. Nobody wants it there either. He has been trying to sell that thing forever. I contacted him once & told him I knew a little about prices in Cartagena. Never heard from him again...

Mike, could you address Rumba's questions? Particularly the part about the free website?

What makes me laugh is the idea that there is a flood of US citizens investing in Cartagena. I don't think so. Panama, Costa Rica, some places in Mexico, yes. Colombia, no.

Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult.

investing The time to invest in old walled Cartagena was 4 years ago. There are no good investment deals in Colombia now besides the weak dollar. Colombians with any money are investing in the states.

Getsemeni still has a lot of bargains.

If you look hard, there are still good deals to be had in the Old City proper, but the best deals to be had were 3-4 yeas ago.
