I have seen people here mention florida phone numbers and a few of my friends seem to use them also. How is this done and what service(s) are used to establish this US number for use in Colombia? Thanks as always for any help.

flaleo says on Jul 1, 2005, 17:50: cell phone calls fro a nickel? How do you call Colombian cellular numbers for 5cents? I agree that it's cheaper to use your Vonage from Cali to call a cellular in Cali versus using your Colombian phone - but what are you actually using? A FL calling card through your Iowa number (that's how I use my vonage while in Cali)?

One of the items I was curious about was a freind of mine who has a florida number that either calls directly or forwards to his cell when he is overseas. Can Vonage do this also? For me this would be perfect - when family calls the local number they will get my cell...

Dan says on Jul 2, 2005, 10:10: Vonage I use Vonage also. After getting screwed with Sprint and their .20 or .29 cents a minute (depends on the plan) I switched to Vonage and I love the .11 cents/min, plus, the signal quality is a hell of a lot better than Sprint ever was.
