I use Avianca.com primarily since I have used another that gave me a paper ticket and it cost more, plus one time I went swimming with my ticket and it got ruined. An electronic ticket would not have suffered the same fate. I have used American, COPA, and Continental to get to Colombia. Avianca has consistently had the best times and prices.

In July, I had to stay over night in Panama with COPA and wake up at 4 AM to catch my flight back! They had mechanical problems and lied to us and said we would make our flights in Panama. I complained and so they shipped me to Miami via American to get into Newark at MIDNIGHT! The rest of the 30 passengers had to stay the night in Panama.

I used www.cheapticket.com for two Round trip Tickets from Miami to Medellin on Avianca and saved $68.00 on each Ticket. The same Flight number and date as Avianca had listed but saved that much by not getting the tickets from Avianca. I have look several other times and cheapticket.com would have saved me money 3 out of the 4 times I looked.

i like avianca because of the miles i accumulate and after about 6 trips i get a free one becuase of miami is not thay far to colombia.......from new york or california would prolly get you a free one after 3 trips.......avianca plus...check it out if you do not already know

I used www.CheapTickets.com in the past and when they do not give me an electronic ticket, it has cost me more money to ship and the one time needing the paper ticket replaced. Instead of paying $100 for the paper ticket to be replaced, I flew from Aero Republica to Bogota from Cartagena for about $50.

Cheap tickets does have an internet travel option that gives a Cash Rebate of either 10% or $50 which once you join and then Cancel for one month.

Many USA travel agencies do not allow tickets to originate from another country into the USA. Yes, that is one reason why the prices into the USA are sky high compared to leaving the USA! OUCH!
