FLIGHTS FROM MANIZALES

Can anyone help with info on internal flights from Manizales.I have searched the site and can't really find anything.
1)Are there regular flights from Manizales to Cartagena?
2)If so, how regular are they and what would be the recommended amount of days in advance to book the flight?
3)I am hoping to be making this part of my journey around January 7/8 next year, is there a chance of the flights being mostly booked up at this time of year?

Thanks for any advice that you can give me.

YOu might want to try avianca airpass.. if you're flying internationaly on Avianca already then you can get the airpass a decent price. I recall they were $250 USD for 5 cities withing COL(during high season), good for 30 days. If you not flying avianca int'l, then the price is $100 more i think.

You may have to connect thru Bogota, but you'll should have no problem getting a flight. Also another option is to take the Bus from Medellin to Manizales, it's about 4 1/2 hrs, it's cheap and safe.

Cheers Caslug, I'm flying with Continental for my international flight.
I'll check out getting the airpass once I arrive in Bogota.

you'll need to get.. the Avianca airpass BEFORE you arrive in COL. I dont believe you can buy it once you are in the country, that's the rule. Check to see if Coninental is a partner w/ avianca, then maybe you can get the lower airpass price. Otherwise, you'll have to fax them your intenary before they'll let you buy it.

As Far As I Know... it would be Avianca with a connection through Bogotá three timed a day

I believe Manizales to have routes to both Bogota and Medellin only.
