Can anybody recommend a flight school in Colombia, preferably Bogota area? Any pilots on this board?

Leeroy says on Feb 20, 2008, 14:06: I can't recomment it, exactly, but I know there is one in Guaymaral, on the way to Chia. It is next to an aerial army "antinarcotraficante" base. Next time I'm up that way I'll note down the name.

What I have, I do not want to lose, but Where I am I do not want to stay, but those I love, I do not want to leave, but those I know I no longer want to see, but Where I die, I do not want to go;I want to stay where I have never been 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Robert Jorge says on Feb 20, 2008, 18:07: I'm pretty sure there is a school in Villavicencio. Kat1 might confirm if this is true. --"I believe in making the world safe for our children. Robert Jorge says on Feb 20, 2008, 20:25: True - just north of Fort Myers you can train to fly while on an expired visa even. A few of the 9-11 boys went there. What was the town? tasco66 says on Feb 21, 2008, 04:42: Yep go to Florida, it’s cheaper and they give you a discount if you're not interested in landing and take-off training. Bravo, Presidente Uribe for the perfect operation! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

paulr says on Feb 21, 2008, 05:13: ha ha, think i would pay the extra for taking off and landing! I am scared of flying but always thought it would be a good idea to learn to fly. My problem is that because i can´t get my head around the idea of something that weighs about 200 tonnes(don´t quote me on that) can fly around, it just feels so unnatural that it makes me panic with fear trying to understand the logic to it all. I´ve read a lot of facts relating to crazy equations like, your are 7 million times as likely to die on the way to the airport etc..It doesn´t take the panic away, strong sleeping pills do help!
