i was going to go to panama city to get my visa next week. but, LAN just started service MDE to Quito and they have a sale for $200 right now.

in the past all my panama mde flights have been aero republica even though i bought them from copa

sorry for the pain at the pump. years ago...late '80's, early 90's, i would fly over from medallo to panama city in the morning and back to medallo in the afternoon--to get my visa renewed--every three months, for about $200.00. the only solace in times like these is telling ourselves it could get worse.....
