I am flying to Colombia and plan on visiting Cali and Cartagena. I will be staying en Cartagena first, then Cali. My flight from Cartagena to Cali does a stop in Bogota. Does anyone know if I will be able to change planes in 30 minutes? My flight to Cali leaves 30 minutes after my flight from Cartagena. Is this enough time? I am flying for both through Avianca.
Thanks.
Lou

sandramoreno80 says on Apr 27, 2005, 14:40: Actually I think that you'll find that Avianca does not operate a direct flight from Cartagena to Cali, therefore all flights will be Cartagena-Bogota then Bogota-Cali so any ticket bought from any travel agent should be one that the connection is physically possible.

Gator says on Apr 27, 2005, 14:46: sandramoreno80 is correct. All Avianca flights from Cartagena/Cali stop in either Bogotá or Medellin. Late flight means no connection but they will get you on the next flight to Cali "Credidi pretio parvo emere et magno vendere tibi in animo fuisse!" . 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

caslug says on Apr 27, 2005, 15:10: it should be ok since you are not switching terminal.. or the flight is not late. I took avianca r/t from Cali to CTG, it change in Bogota, coming back from CTG at BOG i actually had to exit the security area and had to go back thru security near the gate for Cali. It had about an hour so it was no problem.

Jack Smith says on Apr 27, 2005, 20:11: Easy connection! There are two terminals in Bogota and one is for Inernational arrivals except for Aerorepublica flights. If you are on Avianca from Cartagena to Bogota to Cali you will arrive at the second terminal called puente aero if I remember right. This terminal as someone said above is for domestic flights like you are taking for AVIANCA only. 30 minutes will be more than enough time to connect for there are only like 8 or so gates and if for some reason you miss your flight there will be more as mentioned above. No problem!
