Hi there
Having been trying to change my tourist visa from tourist to a civil partner with my girlfriend.
But so far we have been told by two Notorias that with have to have been living together here for 2 years which is a bit difficult under a turist visa when you can only spend 2 years here. We have been together for 1.4 years but we spent time traveling in Argentina.
Guy at the DAS office said peole had done this when only together for 4 - 5 months.
So anyone no how this can be done, do I need to find a more flexible Notoria (if so any recommendations ) or is there another way around this.
look forward to hearing any advice.

If you can marry, get married. If you have true legal impediments to getting married, explain them to the notory and one of them may then become flexible. One required witnesses x2 to say I we had been living together for 2 years. Other wanted some documentation from my embassy (like they are going to do that) and another asked for for a translator , which some of the rest did not.
