Flat in Medellin

I am coming to Medellin in January to study at Universidad EAFIT. Can anyone give me some info on flat prices?? Just standard colombian student style, nothing too fancy, cheaper end of the spectrum in a central area. What are some of you paying per month??

SOme prices You should try to find a flat either in El Poblado or Envigado, close to EAFIT.
A one bedroom flat costs in those areas around 200-250 dollars or maybe less.
You can get a flat for less in other neighborhoods such as Suramericana, Estadio where there are metro stations so you can take the metro to EAFIT. Now, if you take the metro to EAFIT you´ll have to walk approximately four blocks from the station to the university. In these areas you pay between 150 to 200 for a one bedroom flat.

I am living around there now Ola

I am living near Carrefour Las Vagas, Which is near EAFIT.

It is 470,000 for my room including breakfast and dinner, all the cleaning. But I share the apartment with 4 people.

Good luck

for $500 a month,
that had for $500 a month,

that had better be a VERY high end appartment. as in coming with a whore chained in the bathroom to wipe you ass when you are done.

ARFGOBLUE you are a real CLASS ACT. i hope i never have the pleasure of meeting your kind in Medellin. you are exactly the type of guy that gives gringos a bad name. if it were up to me, DAS would stop everyone like yourself at the airport and make you fly your foul mouthed, white trash self back to whatever rock you crawled out from under.

trying to walk a straight line on sour mash and cheap wine...
