No Visa for US Citizen If you are just going over for a few weeks to vacation, then you do not need a visa to enter into Colombia, you will however need your passport. The only time a visa is required for US Citizens in Colombia is if you plan on staying over there for a very prolonged period of time, I am not sure how long that is, but I am sure if you use google to search on this site you will find the answer or visit the Embassy Web Page and it will tell you there.

With Just A Passport... 30 to 60 days with no problem. You will get a pasport stamp at the airport when you enter You can extend that by a visit to DAS. Visa only needed for extended stay or for things other than tourist related.

Have fun

60 DAYS YOU CAN STAY 60 DAYS, WITH JUST YOUR PASSPORT, IF YOU NEED TO STAY LONGER, THEN YOU WILL NEED TO GO TO D.A.S. FOR 30 DAYS MORE, A FRIEND OF MINE DID THIS AND OF COURSE ITS COLOMBIA YES NO MAYBE, COME BACK IN 3 DAYS. HE SAID THE THINGS THEY WANTED HIM TO DO FOR THE EXTRA 30 DAYS WAS NOT WORTH IT. IF YOU WANT TO STAY LONGER JUST LEAVE THE COUNTRY FOR 24 HOURS AND COME BACK IN FOR ANOTHER 60 DAY STAMP..

where are you from? It is impossible to answer your question without knowing which passport you hold. If it is a US passport, the information provided by others in this thread is correct. If not, check with the Colombian consulate in your country or reference this site:
