The Consulate General of Colombia in London is pleased to inform the Colombian community residing in Scotland and northern England, that on July 5 we will carry out an activity called "Mobile Consulate in the city of Edinburgh in order to meet the formalities of a notary and registration of our compatriots in this area of the United Kingdom".
As part of this activity we will undertake signing legalisation of special powers and other documents, passports, civil records (birth, marriage and death) and citizenship cards etc.
The Mobile Consulate will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Rose Room of the Abbey Street Business Centre, located at 83 Princes Street, EH2 2ER, which is opposite the Edinburgh Art Gallery and near the GAP and Superdrug stores. It's only 250 meters to the left of the main exit from Waverley Train Station.
This is an effort by the Foreign Ministry so that Colombians living in city of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness, Dundee, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, and other neighboring cities, can avoid traveling to the consulate in London.
However, it should be borne in mind that the necessary documents and other necessary requirements (photos etc) should be brought with you. Without these we can not complete formalities. Please see www.consuladodecolombia.co.uk for further information on these.
For any additional information, please phone the Consulate of Colombia in London on 0207 9277126 or email: viceconsul at colombianconsulate.co.uk
You can also contact the Field Coordinator of the Consulate in Edinburgh to telephone 01575 540291 Monday to Friday from 7 pm to 9 p.m. and during the day on the 07801 912850.
Take advantage of this opportunity and tell other Colombians about this special event.
