Finding good honeymoon spots

Hi! I'm a S-African moving to Bogota', and am getting married to my beautiful Colombian fiancee middle of this year. As I have only spent 3 months in the country last year, I do not really have a good idea of where one can go for honeymoon. If any of you out there know of great little towns/villages/resorts etc that are recommended for honeymoon, I would appreciate to hear from you!

Lugares For a HM I would recomend Cartagena (Islas del Rosario -Isla del Pirata is quite charming although a bit basic. Providencia Island seems very nice and quiet . Near Bogota you could try Villa de Leyva (Mesopotamia hotel).

Honeymoon Spots Ok here are probably the best places for Honeymoon in Colombia.

ISLA PALMA-Decameron Hotel Located on a private Island 2 hours from Cartagena , It is the only Building on the island , behind the Hotel is Mangrove with Hundreds of Flamingos. The water is very clear and the scuba /watersports great. Beach is pritine and white sands. Very quiete place and great Buffet style food. All included even cigarettes.!. A MUST.

NUQUI-Island with Indiginous population , Dive with Whales / hear them in the night. A real unspoiled paradise. Great food and Hotels can be a little difficult to get to.
