I am tempted to buy a finca currently on the market in Fredonia. Do any PBH members have particular comments on security issues facing a gringo living in this particular area? Thanks for the input.

papiChulo says on Sep 8, 2008, 02:45: geoff... I've been in the vicinity a fews times and my take is it's fine for gringos to live there. I can check with business contacts in Medellin that have fincas around la Pintada. PM me if you want me to ask. avoid the unhappy and the unlucky 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

He is from there has family there and also rents a couple of places so id trust his judgement.
