finca in the area Pereira - Cerritos, is it safe?

I plan a trip to Colombia with some European friends, can anyone tell if it would be safe to rent a Finca in the area around Pereira, Cerritos?

I am an experienced traveller to Colombia but do not know this area too much.

Its safe! The fincas around Cerritos are beautiful. When i went to colombia for christmas my family rented a finca near cerritos, It was beautiful.

I know the area, have had some reallly good times there with friends. Great weather, amazing landscape, fun fincas. You should have no security issues, there is a lot of security in the area (army posts near) and it is very close to Pereira. Just make sure you rent from a serious and well established company.

Yes, it is safe! the weather is great and the zone is secure, indeed. Lot of Pineapples and "chontaduros" around. Enjoy it!
