Finally Heard Juanes

Heard the name but never bothered to download any of his stuff.
Anyway today on one of those 'world music' stations I heard a familiar accent and sure enough the announcer said it was Juanes.
I doubt I'll ever bother to download any now-talk about anodyne crap!
LOL!!!
Any third rate vallenato artist in Colobia blows that stupid little shit off the stage- what a wanker!

Colobia That's in the Ukraine, right?
Damn, Sam, I have always enjoyed your informed comments on fishing, but I've got to say you "don't get it" when it comes to Juanes. He has dominated Latin music for nearly five years, writes some intense lyrics, and can handle that Stratocaster pretty well. Check out his song "A Dios le pido". BTW, I am not a hardcore fan, but I appreciate talent, and he's got that.

It is comparing two totally different forms of music.

I am not a huge fan of his either and I do like my vallenatos but I wouldn't compare the two. Let me see Bach is better than Natasha Atlas, what's next?

If you compared Carlos Vives to Diomedes Diaz then I would give it more cred.

I admit to being drunk when I posted last night thus the spelling errors.
However I'd like to point out that many many inane artists were once the toast of the town.

Entiendo Señor Sam Salmon And I'll drink to that! (And I'm buying!) Somehow, I don't think that Juanes is a flash in the pan. You got to love a guy that records a song that gets banned in the Dominican Republic.
