Too bad these Miami Cubans didn't stay in Cuba 40 years ago and fight the good fight and Cuba wouldn't be in the State they are in today! They shouldn't have cut&Run back then!! Castro didn't take their Island, they simply rolled over and gave it to Castro & Che! I hear them catcalling daily here in Miami but that's as far as they take the fight! There is a good book that just came out "Havana Nocturno" ,,,good exposé and it details how Batista and the Miami Mafia led by Meyer Lansky drained the Cuban National Treasury of Millions of $$$ Monthly. Money that should have been spent on infrastructure, education, medical care ect went into thye Mafia's pockets as well as enriching a few high ranking Cuban officials. The Diaz Balart Brothers(miami area congressmen) were Batisianos whose Poppy was one of Batista's henchmen. The night before Havana fell, Batisita packed his bags and his money stash and headed for West Palm Beach where he lived out his life. His Widow still lives in his Palm Beach Mansion. In hindsight, I'll bet Ike & Nixon wish they would have given Castro a little bit of Aid when he approached them in the late 50s, it may have headed Cuba off in a different direction instead of towards Communism. Something like Plan Colombia did for Col,,,Hindsight is 20/20 and Golden,,,always

"Wait a minute. What did you just say? You're predicting $4-a-gallon gas? That's interesting. I hadn't heard that." -- Feb. 28, 2008 --George W. Bush, Washington, D.C.
