Feria de Manizales...what's up?

Hello,

It seems as if hardly anyone on this forum has been to the Manizales feria. While in Cali last year, a few said it was even better than the feria de Cali in some ways.

Anyone has any info on how good it is?

It is very good Manizales is a great town full of friendly people.
The Feria de manizales is a much more serious plaza. The bullfighting is always better and the public knows more about it. Manizalitas pride themselves in having the best bullfighting corridas.

At the same time the city hosts the international pageant for the Reina del cafe. Women from all over the world come to represent their country in that reinado.

The whole feria is very spanish. As the song for manizales is a beautiful pasodoble ( spanish rhythm) The queens parade in sapnish outfits in the carretas del rocio. All There's always parties after the corridas, called "Remates de corrida"

The town is samller than Cali so its easier to move around.
The feria is not as "caliente" as Cali... But it is great fun!!!!!!!!

Plus, while in Manizales you can visit the Nevado del Ruiz.
