FERIA DE LOS FLORES-MEDELLIN 2007- CALENDAR OF EVENTS

Hello my name is rob.

I will be in medellinf or th eferia de los flores. Can anyone send me a link to a calendar of events and concerts during the feria de los flores. Or maybe just tell me an event that I should not miss. What are the best things to do in Medellin for the Feria?

The classic car, and horse parades are usually the most popular events. They usually occur in the last days of of the feria.

This year the Feria de Flores will take place Aug. 5th to Aug. 12th. Events that you shouldn't miss include:

- Horse parade
- Antique Car parade
- Tablados (street parties along the riverbank with live bands - daily)
- The Flower Parade (Main event) - Aug. 12th

There are concerts, fashion shows, and other events throughout the week.

The horse parade occurs on the first Saturday of the week so that would be Aug.4 and the car parade is the 11th. I went last year and will be there this year. I am not a big fan as it is a lot of nothing. The only thing good about it is that there are a lot of people in the city and a lot of things to do. I was actually bored out of my skull at both the parades and ended up leaving after an hour. However the clubs were fun at nights with a ton of people.
