I personally think it is a nice piece of culture. Sure a hell of a lot better than the fake Rose Bowl Parade or giant balloons shaped as cartoon characters. Big whoop!

OH ok.... I told I was extremely new.. I just opened an account just because of this heading... I was in Medellin last August and I only caught the last 2 days of the festival... But it was incredible. And i still had an amazing time without it.. SO i can only imagine it with it...

The amount of night time as well as day time activities are to keep you busy and having fun all day and night... there are things to do for all budgets and styles. See ya all there! Last year's Feria was out of control!
The horse parade by far was the best!
You gotta get in the mix and jump into the parade.
I was given a horse to ride by a young, healthy paisa.
Good times!!!
