1) Costenita: when it is hot on the coast, the only beer which won't last to get warm
2) Aguila Light: kind of Corona, MC told me this.

Take off Heineken from the list: is out of this league.

I never saw, drank, nor heard of Pilsen beer when I was in Colombia. It must be good - lots of people talk about it. I am like others above - I will drink any beer. But I have an affection for good ole' Aguila. Costena is as good - I can't tell the difference between it and Aguila. Brava seemed pretty hard core to me. I only got myself in trouble with beer in Colombia when playing tejo. As many here probably know, it is customary to purchase a half carton (15) or a carton (30) of Aguila - or whatever brand. When playing tejo in a 90 degree club and it's environment, the beer goes down REAL FAST. I am not a rookie at drinking large quantities of beer, but while playing tejo, before I realized, I would have drank 12 or 15 beers in 2 hours.

My first recollection of you on this site Eywed, is you asking about Pilsen here in the US. I think it is now orderable at major liquor stores. I ordered (successfully) Aguila and Costena about 6 months ago. I know Miller SA was locked out of the US market for a while last year. But you should be able to get their products now.

Also I was told Brava no longer comes in the red can it is now a green can which is lighter in alcohol, but still does the job. I do Aguilas once in a while not too thrilled with them, mostly drink them here in the states when its start warming up. Dont forget the Ron de Medallo and Old Parr.

Redds is colombian? Hmm, I must try it. Cristal Oro and Leona aren't brewed anymore cierto? All this beer talk, I could really use one right now.
