I know you have to pay an airport tax qhich i think is like $30. Im not quite sure though because i go with my american passport....but i do know an american pays more than the colombian and i always pay $30. So im guessing u shouldnt pay anymore than that.

really? I thought it was the other way around - Colombians pay more than Americans leaving Colombia - if that's the case then great, I can spend more at Duty Free - thanks

SO sorry rona...i had it wrong. :)

** iF you go and stay more time than given..i think over 60 days ...your taxes doubles.

it´s $50 to leave if you are colombian or a foreigner living in colombia. foreigners get it cheaper if they prove they are tourists and in the country a short time. i know this because i just coughed up that small fortune a week ago.....

:) I've never heard of this before, I've been traveling to Colombia for quite a few times by now, and I always been lucky to receive an Exception from the colombian customs, they always aske me questions and finally just stamp an Exception on my passport, no fee. I really don;t know about this I might be just a lucky guy

rona It is $30.00 per person and if you Colombian there is another $19.95 per person added so say goodbye to a $50.00 bill per person.
