Including a recent visit to the lovely city of Medellin, everyone was wearing the hat of the soon-to-be World Championship New York Yankees. They must have esp(n).

kat1 (Moderator) says on Oct 4, 2006, 03:18: I think it's the most common cap in Colombia with NY logo, my dad have one and he doesn't know what the logo means. I don't think is because the team I think is because they see it in lots of different American TV programs or films. :) engage brain before opening mouth |

elmodefoque says on Oct 4, 2006, 12:31: I personally have never worn a Yankee cap though I do consider myself a diehard Yankee fan going way back to my first game at Yankee stadium in the early 60’s . For some reason I still don’t feel worthy enough to wear that cap and calling myself a real New Yorker, a native son of the greatest city known to mankind equal to non. Unfortunately I was not born here , I’m just one more miserable immigrant in a city with millions of spics like me . My kids, on the other hand do take great pride in their city and do wear their Yankee cap with great honor, especially when they travel abroad. Like Coke and Pepsi, this cap is recognized in every corner of the planet. over 5 million colombianos in USA and only 27 barranquilleros, i'm one.Curramba, el mejor vividero del mundo! |

Indeed!!! It is the fashion capital of Colombia. y, un mil gracias. |
