Ever been to Aguda de Pablo, Atlantico?

We just purchased a Finca near Aguda de Pablo in the state of Atlantico. It's on the banks of the Cienaga El Guajaro. The plan is to drop out of the rat race here in the USA and raise some cattle on the land. Looks like the closest town will be Sabanalarga. The wife says you should not go swimming in the Cienaga El Guajaro becuase there are a lot of nasty things in the water. I checked it with google earth and it looks like a swamp. I heard it gets a little hot in the daytime and doesn't cool off much at night. There isn't any electricity or running water. It might be hard to get an Internet connection out there. If you have any photos of the area please post them here. Thanks!

Kinda reminds me of the statement in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" when they got off the train in Bolivia and Robert Redford says to Paul Newman. Swamp Land Looks like some one is selling off Colombian swamp land just like they did in the 1950 s in Florida. If its swamp how are you going to raise cattle maybe you should try aligators? Boatygringo

A lot of the swampland that was for sale in Florida years ago, is now prime real estate! Cape Coral, Golden Gate, south east Fort Myers, west Kendall, Orlando, etc.
