Europa exige liberar a secuestrados

billyb says on Apr 25, 2008, 11:35: political dribble aside, how can anybody in good conscience vote against the unconditional release of people being held chained by their necks to trees in the jungle?
|
|
jorgegdiaz says on Apr 25, 2008, 11:36: That´s what I´´m trying to say billy. Those people didn´t vote AGAINST not the release. they voted b/c, according to them, the statement was incomplete. Man with hole in pocket feel cocky all day. |

billyb says on Apr 25, 2008, 11:51: So by that logic, they are against the release of the hostages if there isn't a political solution, that still makes them pieces of sh!t and no better than the FARC in my book.

Desideria (Moderator) says on Apr 25, 2008, 12:00: No billyb, it's you who choses to interpret that vote in a way to make it look like you were right and they are shit... "None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free." —Johann Wolfgang von Goethe |

billyb says on Apr 25, 2008, 12:11: again, my question, what is incomplete about "releasing unconditionally the hostages"? whatever else they wanted added is just political dribble.
|
|
romy says on Apr 25, 2008, 12:26: Desideria- he did say "in my book", anyone is free to have their opinions. just like you choose to see it your way. unfortunately this cannot be settled here because we don't have the accesibility required. If everyone can be a little more critical of what they read and more open to the possibility of different interpretations then it's a gain for society. If people choose to be closed minded and not look at the broader issues then that's up to them.

billyb says on Apr 25, 2008, 12:32: My point is that the fact that they were trying to hold that simple, humanitarian demand hostage (no pun intended) to their other political considerations, is what makes them, in my opinion ;) pieces of sh!t
