English Books in Bogota

English language books Well I think you should be able to find what you're looking for at one of the branches of La Libreria Nacional. They have an excellent Englsh section at their shop in Unicentro including such subjects as psychology. Try also looking in the corresponding main/Spanish language section for your subject. I've found that bookshops will often just catagorize by subject irrespective of language. This is especially true for some of the sciences and technology as some of the textbooks used in college are in English.

You can also try Panamericana, just upstairs from La Libreria Nacional at Unicentro, although their English selection is somewhat smaller.

There are also smaller specialist bookshops on Calle 15. Take a walk around the El Lago area and you might find something.

Both La Libreria Nacional and Panamericana have many branches all over town, check the phone book.

Books & Books There's this place on 140th called Books & Books that has a pretty good selection of English books. It's on Cll. 140 about 2 blocks above Av. 19.
