PBH / colombia (travelguide, pictures) / post |
I bought a Franklin translator and paid a lot for it but was disappointed that it could only translate one word at a time. I want some thing that would translate a sentence.

lpdiver says on Feb 8, 2005, 04:35: You only need a few hundred words of any language to communicate. True you won't be suave with the ladies or have any great theological or political discussions. Take the time to learn a few hundred words and phrases the carry a pocket notebook, small english/spanish dictionary, and your electronic translator. You will get by fine. "cook some rice!" 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

N2Aquatix says on Feb 8, 2005, 04:59: Works great for helping out I got one of those little cheap ones that cost less than $20 USD and has something like 6000 translations (whatever that means in practical terms). It works great for helping out when my novia uses a word that I don't recognize. It's helping my spanish to improve as well so I'd have to say that I think it was a good investment. ;-)
